Which arbitration body is responsible for British Airways?

British Airways does not take part in the Schlichtungsstelle Reise & Verkehr scheme. The government-run Schlichtungsstelle Luftverkehr at the German Federal Office of Justice is responsible instead.

It accepts claims from 10.01 to 5,000 euros and covers privately booked flights only — business trips are excluded.

Before that you must raise the claim directly with the airline and allow it two months to respond — unless it has already rejected the claim.
